| Wednesday February 13 2008 Fraser Eagle staff donate £2,000 in Gift of Kindness Kind-hearted Fraser Eagle staff have raised over £2,000 for charity through the company's Christmas Gift of Kindness campaign. The company encouraged employees to make a small donation or goodwill gesture to a charity of their choice over the Christmas period and pledged to match these donations up to the value of £20. Fraser Eagle staff in the UK and Malta took part in the fundraising drive and money was raised for charities including the NSPCC, The Salvation Army, The British Heart Foundation, East Lancashire Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support. As well as cash, several employees donated clothes and toys to local children's shelters. "This was the first year we have run this initiative, but it has been so successful we have decided to make it an annual event and hope to raise even more next year," says Kevin Dean, group managing director. "I would like to thank all staff who took part in our Gift of Kindness and we look forward to receiving their support again next year." |
